The viral success of Talaarawan made the 8-girl-group pioneers of Modern Filipina Style.
P-Pop group BINI champions the Modern Filipina wave with their signature bubblegum pop style that combines powerful vocals and choreography.
The 8-girl group’s momentum surged dramatically in 2024 with the viral success of their first EP Talaarawan which topped the Billboard Philippine Songs chart. The album’s lead singles “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin” – in both Tagalog and English – are their top two streamed songs with over 400 million combined plays.
In June 2024 BINI unveiled the standout single “Cherry on Top” and subsequently entered the Top Artists Global Chart on Spotify, becoming the first Filipino group to do so.
This became their lead single on Biniverse their second EP released in February 2025.
In April they became the first Filipino act to be announced as part of the Coachella lineup.
BINI rounded out the exceptional year with the November release of Flames, their third studio album. “First Luv” shone as its lead single.
Their 2022 album Feel Good was certified Gold in the Philippines with “Lagi” as its featured track.
Their debut had come the year before with the album “Born to Win,” led by a song of the same name. Before the album’s release they created an electropop remake of the Filipino classic “Da Coconut Nut,” in November 2020.
BINI was formed through the Star Hunt Academy, a rigorous three-year training program established by ABS-CBN, one of the Philippines’ largest media and entertainment companies.
Their eight members – Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena – are all 20-somethings from different regions across the Philippines.
BINI’s trendsetting style and catchy, upbeat songs have made them an ideal choice for Gen Z-centric brand endorsements including Maybelline, Jollibee, and Coca-Cola.
